Last weekend saw the Wireless Festival take over Hyde Park, sponsored by Barclaycard.

Mission hosted the Unwind VIP pod, which quickly became the go-to destination for the festival’s most glamorous guests such as Alexa Chung, Kelly Osbourne, Ke$ha, Pixie Geldolf, Sarah Harding, Alexandra Burke, Nick Grimshaw, Sadie Front and Tulisa Constavalos.

Providing the perfect place to relax in the sun in between incredible sets from acts like The Black Eyed Peas, The Chemical Brothers and Pulp, it was another great year for Wireless and Barclaycard.

Nokia have celebrated the launch of the Pink Nokia N8, with a music video for the Sugababes‘ new track ‘Freedom’, starring a very talented dancing doll.

The enigmatic Prince gave a headline performance to remember at this year’s Hop Farm Music Festival.

Now a three day event, Prince closed the Sunday with hit after hit, including ‘Let’s Go Crazy’, ‘Raspberry Beret’, ‘Kiss’ and ‘Purple Rain’, in a set that included three encores. The Friday and Saturday saw headline performances by Eagles and Morrissey who declared that Hop Farm was the “best and most civilised festival in the world!”.

International superstar Beyoncé proved she truly runs the world at the global launch of her new album  ‘4’ in association with Belvedere. (more…)

On Saturday, after months of searching the globe for the world’s best short film, Nokia announced JW Griffiths, from Great Britain, as the winner of their competition, Nokia Shorts.

His film ‘Splitscreen’ based on two people in love, shot entirely on a Nokia N8 smartphone, won over the crowd at The Nokia Shorts Weekender at the Edinburgh International Film Festival where the finals of the Nokia Shorts 2011 took place.
