Exactly a year to the day since Mission last worked with Nokia and deadmau5 to launch the Nokia Lumia 800 with a projection mapping show on Millbank Tower – deadmau5 was back in London to play on Flat Iron Square in Southwark, launching the new Nokia Lumia 920.
This year we worked with the truly excellent ML Studios – the guys behind the Chemical Brothers’ visuals, amongst many other great projects – to deliver an environment that brought light to life. Everything in the square that could light up, lit up. From the dustbins, the fruit outside the grocery store, the window frames and even the graffiti tags along the roof tops.
More than 20,000 people around the world watched the event through a live feed whilst 700 guests of Nokia, including 100s of competition winners, media, commercial partners and staff were invited to attend the show in person.
Mission are very proud to have worked for Nokia over the past 5 years and this certainly was one of the biggest and bravest projects we’ve undertaken on their behalf and with their trust.
The entire project would not have been possible without the hard work and often genius of Mission’s partners that helped bring this concept to fruition. Thank you.
