Mission Public Relations helped put together Barclaycard and Hollywood hero, David Hasselhoff to celebrate the first ever payment by a customer using a Barclaycard PayTag by taking part in a surprise extravaganza involving Shaolin Monks, Can-Can dancers, cheerleaders and a brass band.
As the customer made the payment using a PayTag on their mobile telephone, the former Knight Rider and Baywatch star appeared to surprise dozens of stunned shoppers.
A town crier announced the moment as Shaolin Monks swung into action with an acrobatic display. They were quickly joined by eight high kicking Can-Can dancers who emerged alongside half a dozen cheerleaders dancing to a six-piece brass band, which was all caught on camera.
In a blizzard of glitter the celebration, at The Co-operative Food store in Enfield, north London, saw “The Hoff” congratulate the first Barclaycard PayTag user as shoppers looked on in amazement.
