Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC), the nation’s oldest HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care services provider, hosted their annual event Fashion Forward, featuring a runway show by Saks Fifth Avenue with looks from their 2009 Holiday/Resort designer collections. There was a live and silent auction which featured designer shopping sprees, vacation packages and much more. Tim Gunn of Project Runway reprised his role as master of ceremonies. The event raised over $200,000 to support GMHC continued efforts for HIV/AIDS research and prevention.
